Up for sale is a very high quality antique 19th century bronze Victorian electric wall sconce. It's made of very thick gold gilded bronze, is a heavy sconce, and wired ready to hang. It was once a gas sconce that was converted to electric. The piece is done with very ornate detailing throughout and is a high quality crisp casting. It has a large claw foot wrapping around a ribbed solid bronze ring that pivots back and forth in the claws grasp. The ornate raised fitter holds a matted milk glass shade with detailing done in high relief. There is also an on/off turn switch located on the ornate circular canopy. It's in nice condition and measures 20 3/4 inches long by 5 1/2 inches wide and sits 10 1/2 inches from the wall. There are a couple small stress cracks in the canopy as shown in last photo.
