Antique Vintage Carl Fagerlund Orrefors Leaf Sconce Wall Light PAIR Glass Brass

A pair of mid-century brass and glass acanthus leaf wall sconce lights by Carl Fagerlund for the venerable Swedish glassworks Orrefors, renowned for its high-quality crystal and art glass. Each wall light is an elegant composition in quality solid brass with one large glass sculptural leaf. They retain their original label verso.

Each sculptural clear glass shade is shaped with a textured acanthus leaf shape. The shade is indented in the centre to `rest` on the brass arm giving this piece depth & volume. The upper edge of the glass leaf curves slightly outwards to finish the design.

The shades have an external gloss finish, internally there is a layer of sparkling specks of crystal shards creating depth & great reflections. The glass shade securely attaches by two decorative brass screws internally to the arms. The shade is removeable for cleaning.

These wall lights are in very good condition. The glass shades are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The polished brass frames have some flaking as seen, creating patina in places and adding character. These lights are unwired and so will need setting up, wiring and testing by a suitably qualified person, and will look stunning lit. PLEASE NOTE: This listing is for a the pair of lights.
