Mid-to late19th Century sconce with electrical socket added at burner, but the main parts are NOT drilled or altered for electricity. Possibly made by Cornelius & Baker of Philadelphia, but unmarked.

This arm bracket looks like it could have also been used on chandeliers and hanging lights with 2 arms. The polished bronze/brass is heavy and high-quality. The iron mounting bracket looks modern, maybe from the 1960s or 70s whenever the electric socket was added, but it is not visible when the light is mounted. About 13 long from the outer edge of the shade holder.

The 3 diameter cover for the mounting bracket is stamped brass and while it is old and very nice, it most likely would not be original to this sconce. The shade holder is a generic vintage piece.
