Attractive pair of toleware wheatsheaf wall sconces, continental C1960s, 44cm

A very good example of a matching pair of wheatsheaf, gilded toleware single branch wall sconces, each measuring apx 44-45cm drop and featuring 6 rising leaf/reeds and a spray 5 wheat heads. Typically Italian circa 1960-70s, these examples are often very popular with interior designers, they uplift an interior of either a classic or contemporary space whether lights are in or off, due to the gilding, light generates a magnificent lustre.
