This is a pair of antique Bradley and Hubbard (B&H) wall sconces beveled glass mirror candelabras. Perched on the top is the Roman God Dionysus or Bacchus, the God of winemaking, fertility and mayhem.
They are cast-iron with a brass/gold finish or wash. There's an attached candelabra which holds three candles and you could hang prisms from the holes in the candelabras. No prisms come with these mirrors. They are both marked B&H on the back with the model number 3504 3509.
They are beautiful ornate late 1800s pieces. They each measure 16 inches tall by 11 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches deep. One sconce is missing a small fan shaped decoration in the lower center section. The other sconce's mirror has a slight chip in the lower left corner.
Both beveled mirrors have some oxidization and a small loss of the silver plating which is consistent with their age. Please see the pictures for details and contact me if you have further questions. According to Wikipedia "By the 1890's, the Bradley and Hubbard name was synonymous with high quality and artistic merit, " said Richard E. Stamm for the Smithsonian Institution, which has an extensive collection of Bradley and Hubbard manufactured design objects in its collection.
These would make a beautiful enhancement to your home decoration.
