I believe they are made of cast aluminum. They have small rotary switches in the center marked PAT 11-23-26, ROBERTS, 3A 125V, IA. Measurements : These sconces measure about 10 3/4" tall and 9" wide overall not including bulbs. They project about 4 from the wall. The backplates measure about 9 3/8" x 4 3/4". Condition : These are in good to very good condition and were working when removed and the wiring looks pretty recent so they were probably rewired. The gold paint finish is in nice condition but they would be easy to repaint to the color of your choice. The candle covers are in fair condition with flaking paint and tears but.... You can easily replace them. One of these is missing the cap that covers the threaded pipe that goes into the wall but you can easily use plain brass lock up caps instead.
Also, both rotary switches are missing the little brass turn knob.... But this is also to find. This is the last pair of these sconces (I originally had 6 pairs) so the photos you see are not the exact same ones.... But they were all virtually the same.I have or will have many other great items up for sale, including many more pairs of these same sconces and other light fixtures & vintage items , so please check out what else is available by. And don't forget, there's even more to see if you view my gallery. Thanks for looking and happy treasure hunting! PLEASE READ THIS BORING BUT IMPORTANT STUFF!
