BEAUTIFUL, IMPRESSIVE WALL SCONCE (2 available)! EXCEPTIONALLY HEAVY WEIGHING APPROXIMATELY 12-15lbs. This 2 arm sconce features a crossbar with a brass candlestick on each side.

The candlesticks have a brass bobeche and an acorn finial and each houses a single, candelabra style bulb. There is a large, brass lion at the center point of the crossbar. The lion has a ball in its mouth and this provides the attachment of the lion to the crossbar. The lion is attached to a stepped base.

He is semi standing on his hind legs. One of his front legs is in a bent and lifted "crouch" position.

This is a gorgeous sconce of timeless and elegant design. Very nice condition with some of the gilded finish worn in a few areas and some very minor oxidization. There is a set screw in the bottom center of the base, where the sconce could be converted to a wall lamp. We have pictured in the collage picture.

It is better served as hardwired directly into wall. We have included a picture of both available sconces as they were hung over our fireplace prior to our listing.
