2 MCM HOLLYWOOD REGENCY Gold & Roses Tole Metal Wall Mount CANDLE SCONCES, Italy

2 MID-CENTURY MODERN GOLD CANDLE SCONCES. Beautiful pair of vintage mid-century modern sturdy tole gilt painted metal wall mount candleholders, each measuring about 14-1/3" tall, 11-1/2" wide and 6" deep - candle ports are 1" wide and each sconce holds two candles. Featuring a pair of trailing leaf design sconces accented with white rose buds, they have a small shell shape bowl mounted to the bottom as shown - think this area was designed for ivy or similar small starts - top back is molded into a loop for wall display.

Faintly embossed MADE IN ITALY across the stabilizer bar on back, these scream Hollywood Regency! Condition is very nice with no damage or loss - a bit of paint wear, scuffing, and build-up of dust from display - I think at one time they may have been wired as the arms are hollow.
