Antique Brass Wall Sconce Gilt French Rococo Gold Aurene Squash Blossom Glass

From a New England estate. Unusual antique wall sconce fixture has brass and nickel-plated brass two-toned combination with gilt applied laurel leaf decoration. Brass three screw shade holder is stamped with a patent date'90 (1890). All vintage with updated working wiring. Very early Bryant socket with bakelite paddle switch. Mouth blown unsigned gold aurene squash blossom shade measures 5 1/2"H X 4"W at spread and has a 2 1/8W shade fitter opening. Wavy gold striations in glass add depth. Brushed brass surfaces with brushed nickel collar.

Bell shaped wall cap measures 4"W and extends out 11 1/2" to edge of shade fitter.
