This is a nice large ornate wood and wrought iron wall sconce. The item is made of carved wood with wrought iron arms and a gold painted finish. The sconce looks to be Italian in origin to me (see photos and decide the origin). The large sconce has three arms to hold candles or it could be wired for electric lights by you (see photos). The sconce is very nice (see photos). The item in total measures about 3 feet high, it is about 9 inches deep from the front edge to the back and it is about 1 foot 4 inches wide. The picture frame looks to be original to the painting. The picture frame has chips, damage and losses, finish losses and wear and wear.

The sconce has some scuffs, some finish losses, some bends to the wrought iron leaves and a few missing wrought iron leaves with some signs of wear (see photos and / or the description for the condition of this item). A nice large wooden wall sconce for your collection. I would date this item to be 40 +/- years old.
