Wildly flamboyant - Hollywood glamour -A Pair of French Wheat sheaf gilded tole ware sconces - recent wiring 1960's/70's - take 4 electric chandelier bulbs (E14's) max wattage 40 per bulb - reminiscent of the popular Italian styling of the period or the later Maison Jansen style. The double candle lamps are set at the same height- they have metal fluted & scalloped bobèche and the original bulb covers - 5 sheafs of wheat radiate upwards & out from the centre- curving leaves give depth & dimension to the sconces. Hollywood style at a very affordable price. Condition - Good vintage condition - a small amount of tarnish to the metal - negligible.

Max width 11.5/ 29cms. Diameter of circular back plate is 3/7.5cms. Depth from wall 4.75/12.5cms. Weight 1.5 kilos - unpacked. The lights work and they are on plastic covered wiring - but we would always recommend with vintage or antique lighting that it is checked prior to using - by a qualified electrician in order to ensure it complies with your Countrys' regulations. These sconces also have an "earth" connection.
