Vintage Antique Italian Gold Gilt Tole Wall Sconce Candle Holder Flowers Leaves

This vintage Italian Gold Gilt Candle Wall Sconce is perfectly aged, to having stunning character and rich warm gold appearance. It was made in Italy and is all original, which is delightful.

The sconce measures 8 3/4" tall by 10 1/2" across and it stands off of the wall 5 3/4. The sconce takes two taper candles. The design of the sconces is wonderful organic Leaves and Flowers on a twisting vine, with flower shaped bobeches holding the candle holders. The gold gilt finish has light wear from age as expected and giving the sconce a wonderful rich aged appearance and character. There is a bit of wear through to the red primer they used in Italy, before adding the gold gilt finish. Notice the how beautifully detailed the leaves are shaped. The condition of the sconce is very good, everything seems to be in place and intact. The sconce does not have a loop on the back, I have it on a screw, however in your home, you could use a decorative hook or gold screw to blend in better.
